We had a fantastic day at the Urban Village Fete, 20 chessboards were set up with volunteers offering chess tuition to the many people who stopped by. Our special chess prodigy, Kushal Jakaria did a simul exhibition match, and wiped the floor with all his opponents – well done Kushal, not bad for a 10 year old. Many thanks to the organisers, for giving us a really good spot, next to the food hall.
